Description

Running a kingdom is a tough job but King Janka performs all his duties efficiently. He has all the power at his command and yet has the question. " How does one attain wisdom? How does one become free?"While surrounded by luxury he asks, " How can one attain dispassion"? His questions are answered by Ashtavakra, a young monk. Though the body is deformed at eight places, he is firmly established in Truth.

In this series, we take a Deep Dive into the Ashtavakra Gita. The source of the primary interpretation of the Gita is Video Discourses by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on his commentary on the Ashtavakra Gita. The discourses by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar are to be watched by the student on their own time. The discourse is available on the Art of Living App. The student is encouraged to download the App from the App Store or Google Play store in order to view the respective Video Discourses.

In this series, we present recorded sessions of the discussions after each chapter of the above mentioned video discourse. The discussions re-interpret the sutras by drawing parallels with Physics & Physical Sciences. This re-interpretation helps to make the Gita real by drawing parallels with Physical Sciences for which we all have an intuitive feel.

This re-interpretation makes the Gita Real.
