Abortion in the USA

Transcript:

Driving into work today, I was listening to the National Public Radio, NPR, and they aired a story on how the anti-abortion movement started in the United States. It turns out that the movement was completely fabricated and started by one guy, Horatio Storer.

This fellow, he ghost-wrote a letter as if it's coming from the American Medical Association, the AMA. The president of the AMA never wrote that letter. It was this guy who wrote the letter as if it's coming from the president of the AMA, and he sent it to all the governors of the states in 1860, claiming that abortion was bad, and he put morality as his argument in the letter.

And it had nothing to do with that. It had nothing to do with the health of the baby or the health of the woman or nothing. Pro-life, nothing. His main objective in pushing anti-abortion was to keep America white.

Here's the link to the NPR article. Read it. It is eye-opening, and it is complete. An entire anti-abortion movement is based on a complete fabricated lie.
