Body Overheating!!

Transcript:

So you arrive at a natural gas processing site, and you are shocked to see that everyone else other than you is walking briskly, and you are just barely managing; you are just ambling around, and you say, what the heck? I am such a loser.

No, what is happening is all the other people that you see are apparently walking briskly, they are used to working in coveralls, they are used to working in an environment which is more than 90% relative humidity. The only way the body prevents itself from overheating is by transpiration. So you sweat, and then the sweat evaporates, and every molecule of water that evaporates takes away 540 calories per gram of water.

So, till your body gets used to walking briskly, you walk at the fastest pace that your body doesn't overheat. That is the trick.
