Food Portion Control
Transcript:
Yup, that's the sun. It's a foggy fall morning. It's beautiful.
So, I wanted to share with you an insight that I learned from a famous dietitian in India. Her name is Rujuta Diwekar. And this is on portion control. She says portion control is critical to managing and even losing weight.
So, how do you do portion control? You have to ask yourself the question — let's say you have the urge to eat one more gulab jamun or, let's say, one more paratha or one more something. You ask yourself the question: can you eat two of them? And if the answer is no, then you don't even need the one. This is a very good way of portion control.
It is recommended — again, it comes from Rujuta Diwekar — that you have to get off the table with a little bit hungry. You should remain a little bit hungry when you stop eating your meal and get up. The way to do that is to follow her advice on portion control. Ask yourself the question: can I eat two more parathas or two more gulab jamuns? And if the answer is no, then you don't even need the one, and you just get up.
Beautiful. It works. Try it out. Bye.
