Quantized Mind (Part 4of4)

Transcript:

What is karma? Karma simply means action. And these are all successive actions that are playing a feedback role, one on top of the other. And the net result is an infinite loop—essentially a bond. Not you; we all are bound in this infinite loop of karmic cycle.

So how do you break it?

The only way to break this is to still the mind down so that it recognizes the granularity of the ultra-finest moments, which is the Kshan. Only when the mind is stilled, so that the Kshan can be perceived, the accumulation of the Vrutti stops. And then this infinite cycle of karma, or action, or feedback action is broken.

This is the key insight that Maharshi Vashishta presents in the Vashishta's Yoga. Kshan—the discretization on the level of the mind—is critical to break the infinity of the cycle of karma.
