Random vs Chaotic
Transcript:
Okay, there's a difference between chaotic and random. So here's the difference.
In a system that is random, for the same start conditions, you'll get different outcomes. And if you vary the start conditions a little bit, those outcomes change even more.
But a system that is chaotic, for a given start condition, you can predict exactly how the system is going to evolve in time. Except the evolution of the system in time is extremely sensitive to the starting condition.
That's the difference between random and chaotic.
