Vegetarian in Brazil
Transcript:
As part of my travel, I need to go to Brazil. And Brazil is a meat-centric country. It's very difficult to be a vegetarian in Brazil.
Except, you can play it smart. The best place to have vegetarian food in Brazil is at a Brazilian steakhouse. It is predominantly meat. So think about what they do. They have this extensive vegetarian buffet, which is just outstanding. It has got all kinds of reasonably healthy vegetarian options.
And the reason they make the vegetarian spread so good is because if you are a group of 15 people and two of them want to be vegetarian, the steakhouse wants all those 15 to come to their restaurant. So, the only sort of jokers in the pack are the vegetarian people. And if they can cater to those three or four vegetarians, they got all the meat eaters automatically. It's a pretty smart way of doing business.
So, next time you're in Brazil, check out vegetarian food in a Brazilian steakhouse.
