Why is Death not Peaceful

Transcript:

Participant: Why death is not peaceful?

SK: Who said? जो मरा है उसने तेरे को बोला कि death is not peaceful? How do you know? Tell me, how do you know that death is not peaceful? You will know when you go through it, but you will not be able to tell anybody. This is the problem. You will not be able to tell anybody.

What you are saying is that the process of approaching death seems highly uncomfortable. That I agree. Your body functions are not working, and you don't know what the heck is going on. I mean, it's a perspective from outside. I don't know what the perspective of the person who is going through is because there is no way to know that.

So it looks like a very painful thing. But from inside, I don't know.

And the only explanation I can see is, let's say you are falling into a black hole. When you are falling into a black hole, you will not even know that you have fallen into a black hole. You won't even know. Person on the outside will see you being stretched very thin and going past the event horizon and all this other stuff happening. But that is from their perspective. Again, it's relativistic. From the observer point of view, you are being stretched and pulled thin, and time is standing still for you, and all this stuff is happening. But for you, you will not even know that you have gone into the black hole. For you, nothing changes.

So, like this, it must be for death also. For the person who is going into death, it's just simply one more step. And then one more step. Done. For the person on the outside, it's heart stop beating, resuscitation, and all this stuff. But for that person, it's just one more step, finished, just like falling into a black hole.

I mean, the physics is there. You can write the physics of the black hole from the person falling into it. Nothing changes. From the person outside the black hole, you are completely dismantled. Your legs are getting stretched from your head and all this stuff. But for you, you will not see a thing.
