These past few days
I walked the beach
Let me make footprints said I
The ocean smiled
4 waves is all it took
What footprints?
And I counted; 4
Ok said I
Footprints on the sand then
The wind smiled
You get the picture
Then it struck me
Same thing happened
A few days ago
I made footprints in the snow
And Nature Smiled
It is telling me
Tread lightly Friend
I will always win
But so can you
