Extension of Working Definition of God

Transcript:

Hi! So, in the last video, we looked at a working definition of God. What is it? Whatever is more than known, that is God. Now, let's look at how this working definition can be interpreted.

Notice when you are born, the amount that was known was very small, and the amount that was unknown surrounding it was very big. And as we grow, we learn more and more and more stuff, so our sphere of known becomes wider, and outside of that is the sphere of more than known. So, all your life, you've been going towards God. Your sphere of known has been increasing, and the sphere of more than known has been around it, and you've always been moving towards the sphere of more than known.

Wherever you are at that point, there is always something that is more than known. Always. Which means God is omnipresent. That thing that is present everywhere, that is more than known, is also seeing everything that is known, so God is omniscient.

Now, the third definition of God: omnipotent, most powerful. The most powerful thing in this universe is a thought. Everything is driven by thought. First, it starts as a thought, and then everything else happens. Thought is the most powerful thing, and thought—currently, the origin of thought is more than known. We don't know where the thoughts are coming from. The origin of thought is more than known, and more than known is what? God. So God is omnipotent, most powerful.

This working definition fits everything. We are moving towards God all our life. God is present everywhere. God is seeing everything, and God is all-powerful. Just this one working definition.

Reflect on this. Bye!
