So, here's a sobering thought: the size of the observable universe is 93 billion light-years. So it takes 93 billion years to go across the observable universe. And the furthest man has gone from the earth is less than 1.5 light-seconds; the furthest we have gone away from the earth is 1.5 light seconds. In fact, it's 1.2 light seconds. It's furthest we've gone to the moon. We haven't traveled far at all. It's taken this long for us to simply go 1.2 or 1.3 light-seconds. And the size of the universe is 93 billion light-years.
