So perfect numbers are defined as numbers for which the sum of all their factors, except the number itself (because the number is always its own factor); So sum of all the factors of the number when it is equal to the number—the sum of the factors is equal to the number—that number is called a perfect number. For example, 6. The factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3 and 6. So eliminate the 6; 1 plus 2 plus 3 is 6. So, 6 is a example of a perfect number.
